Toyota NS4, Plug-in Hybrid Concept with Efficient Technology

A new midsize plug-in hybrid car which is called as NS4 concept was revealed by Toyota carmaker at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show. This hybrid vehicle shows both technology and design concept which will be adopted on the 2015 car production of the company. Toyota NS4 is focused in human interface, connectivity and also efficient technology. Talking about the exterior design of Toyota NS4, this hybrid car has 4,650 mm of length plus aerodynamic design. The rear section of the car is adopted from the rear end design of FCV-R Concept. The company commented, “Signals a new styling direction for the Toyota brand aimed at creating an emotional connection with consumers”.

The exterior design also shows clean yet smooth surface treatment which is collaborated with dynamic and thin element completed in chrome like roofline, ultra thin A pillars, belt line and also daytime running light shaped like wing on the rear and front end of the car.

 

New Car variants from Toyota Showcased at Tokyo 2011 Motor Show

At the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, beside showcased Prius and Aqua concept, Toyota also presented three other car concepts. Among of them is Toyota FT-EV III Concept, a compact car design for 4 seater which adopt the concept of Toyota iQ variant and is completed by an electric powertrain which is suitable for short – distance journey. The Toyota FCV-R (Fuel Cell Vehicle – Reality & Revolution) car concept is also showcased at the event. This is a concept of 4.7 m long of car which is generated by hydrogen.

Other exhibited Toyota car concept is Fun – Vii variant. The name of Fun – Vii means Fun Vehicle interactive Internet that is aimed as futuristic vision of manufacturer. The compact hybrid car variant from Toyota is symbolized by the presence of Toyota AQUA, where the design is aimed for resulting a fun, friendly, and fuel efficiency.
